Our qualified team provides confidential counselling for LGBTIQ people, their families and their allies seeking support to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Westlund Counselling is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental therapeutic environment that values the unique lived experiences of anyone seeking counselling with our team. WHO CAN ACCESS COUNSELLING?

Westlund Counselling is for everyone, and our fee schedule ensures counselling is affordable to all. We welcome members of the community over the age of 16, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, religious belief or economic circumstances.

We specialise in providing counselling for people:
Experiencing issues or challenges in their same sex relationship
Exploring their gender identity, or sexual identity
Who are allies or family members of LGBTIQ people
Experiencing same sex intimate partner violence, family violence or homophobic violence and/or discrimination.

If you’re not sure about eligibility or suitability of our service for your needs, contact our team to find out more.

We welcome self referrals to our service, in addition to referrals from medical practitioners and other professionals.

To refer clients to Westlund Counselling, or to the AIDS Action Council Client Services team, simply submit your information and a member of our team will be in touch.

Client confidentiality is of utmost important to us. You do not need to provide your full name upon referral, just a valid phone or email for us to contact you on.
